Montana Skin Academy was founded in 2018 by Jennifer Clouse, a licensed esthetician and the owner of a medical spa right here in Missoula, Montana — someone with as much at stake in the quality of esthetics education as anyone in the region.

Jen saw a clear gap in esthetics education: programs taught by instructors who had stepped away from the treatment room, disconnected from the techniques, products, and client realities that define the profession today. She built MSA to be different. Every instructor at Montana Skin Academy is an actively practicing esthetician who specializes exclusively in skin — because when you learn a chemical peel, a lash lift, or an advanced facial technique, you deserve to learn it from someone who performed that same service on a real client this week.

As a medical spa owner, Jen knows exactly what the industry needs from its next generation of professionals — and she built MSA to deliver it. Her investment in this school is also an investment in the Missoula esthetic community she has spent her career building. A stronger talent pool benefits every spa, every clinic, and every client in this city.

But MSA has always been about more than a license. Jen built this school to support entrepreneurs — men and women who don't just want a career in esthetics, but who want to own it. Whether that means launching your own business, building a loyal clientele, or walking into your dream job ready to contribute from day one, MSA graduates leave prepared for all of it.
